Kiteboarding Lessons

Beginner Lessons

All the equipment needed for your Beginner Lesson is provided with the exception of your water wear. At a minimum we recommend you wear board shorts, rash gaurd, and a pair of strapped surf booties. SPF 40 sun block is also recommended year round. If the water temp and/or wind chill temp is below 70 degrees F, a wet suit is appropriate. A set of course notes are also provided. Wetsuits, booties and other gear is available for rent (see equipment rental).

* Prior to starting a class, each student must demonstrate proficiency in the skills taught in the prerequisite class

Novice Lessons
Students should use their own equipment for Novice Lessons.  Equipment is available for rent (see rental equipment)

An instructor will call to setup your lesson based on the information you suppy above.  For all lessons beyond Ground School (KB101) a wind speed of 10mph or more is required.  We will only schedule your lesson when the forcast calls for  wind speeds of more than 10mph.  If the wind does not cooperate, we will reschedule your lesson.  Payment for your lesson should (cash or check) at the start of your lesson.  If you enjoy your lesson and you think your instructor did a great job, be sure to thank him with a generous tip.
